Teese (mozzarella flavor) on pizza. Still meh. My omnivore husband swears its the same texture as real fresh mozzarella but I call it rubbery. Still no good substitute for Daiya.
Teese (mozzarella flavor). The verdict: meh. I give it 4/5 stars for texture and 2/5 stars for taste (or lack of taste rather). Also 5/5 for pleasant cheese-like smell.
I tried making a quesadilla and purposely didn’t put anything on it so I could taste the Teese. Problem was I didn’t taste anything really. Texture is pretty good. But that’s it. Maybe I need to try a different flavor.
I think this “cheese” melts well so I will try it on pizza later this weekend. But I have a feeling that it won’t replace the Daiya in my life.
